100g of Border Leicester wool roving, grown and processed in Australia.
This is a "true" woollen prep roving, processed on a local scale here on the Central Coast, NSW. Gently dyed in small batches in unique semi-solid colours. The roving has been doubled up and braided; I recommend unbraiding before spinning.
Border Leicester is a shiny, soft wool suitable for a range of uses. It is a joy to spin and knit with, soft enough to wear next to the skin. Felts easily, gentle hand wash is recommended.
Colours may appear different on different screens, despite every effort to capture them accurately.
