Australian Corriedale - AQUAMARINE// 'Cunnawarra Two-Strand' 4ply

Cunnawarra Two-Strand is a yarn grown and produced in Australia by Cloverleaf Corriedale Stud. It is a 100% Corriedale wool, worsted spun.

Cunnawarra is a genus of a little-known Australian tidal spider in the family Desidae. They live between the tides and are some of the world's few marine spiders.

The yarn is a Fingering/4ply weight. It is not recommended for hard wearing items such as socks, since it has not been strengthened with nylon. If you would like to use it for socks I recommend reinforcing with a strand of mohair, at least along the heel or base of the sock. Dyed in small batches in unique colourways. Shown here in the colourway 'aquamarine'. It is a semi-solid aqua.

Each skein contains 100g, 395m/432yd. Hand wash only.
